It's incredible that medicine is the only profession where "being human"
isn't acceptable. Doctors are expected to be perfect.

If I get distracted by a phone call or interrupted to consult with another doc, or a patient calls me while I'm working, and that distraction leads to a mistake because I'm a human being - well, there possibly goes my career.

I've seen it similarly with a colleague, and it's heartbreakingly unethical.

It's a ridiculous standard.
