the classes ranked 25th in recruiting the last few years

have signed 5-7 4 star recruits with 1 or 0 5 star players. To be top 10, you need 10+ 4 star recuits and multiple 5 stars.

for BYU to win 9-10 games a year and be a top notch program, at minimum BYU needs to recruit on a TCU level IMO. They signed 6 four stars and 16 three stars (3.17 star average) and had the 21st ranked recruiting class last year.
