You have to be on an undefeated or 1-loss team to be a serious contender
If you're playing for a name-brand school, you might be able to get by with 2 losses.
Healthy or not, Taysom will not be in the Heisman conversation - at least, not in any national media outlets. Remember, Christian McCaffrey, Deshaun Watson, and Leonard Fournette are all coming back this year. Then you've got J.T. Barrett, Royce Freeman, and at least one more RB from the SEC (Hurd, Scarbrough, etc.).
Some of those guys are likely to be on undefeated, 1, and 2-loss teams. Hill will be lucky if BYU goes 9-3 (and 6-6 looks just as likely at this point).
Hill has a shot at the Heisman just like Chuckie Keeton had a shot at the Heisman.
