What are you talking about!?!
USU doesn't have "announcers" (unless you're talking about the guy on the stadium PA). Broadcast teams from networks cover games, and it's unusual for a particular broadcast team to always cover a specific team. Teams like USU don't have "announcers."

With that said, broadcast teams have to come up with massive amounts of content - they need to provide continuous entertaining dialogue for several hours. It's not at all uncommon (especially at the beginning of a season) for broadcasters to highlight the best player on a team as a potential Heisman candidate, or a _____ award contender, etc. Lots of guys get Heisman hype at the beginning of the year, but only a few are actually legitimate contenders. Keaton got dark horse Heisman talk from major networks... for about 5 seconds (ie: he was never a real contender). Don't believe this is a pattern? Just watch some prime-time football this Saturday. Every game will have 1-2 "potential" Heisman candidates - and all the viewers realize that this is mostly just entertaining noise.

The same will be true for Hill. He'll get a little bit of hype, but everyone knows that he's not in the same league as McCaffrey, Fournette, or Watson. He's not going to get the same exposure that Dalvin Cook, Royce Freeman, or J.T. Barrett are going to get (to say nothing of Baker Mayfield, Josh Rosen, etc.).

Also, I'm not arguing that Hill won't get media attention. If he can stay healthy, he almost certainly will. I'm just saying that he will not be a serious contender for the Heisman - and that will be obvious to the CFB world by week 4.
