There's a grammatical difference between what you said and what I said
You said "USU's announcers," implying that the announcers belonged to Utah State (ie: that they were part of some USU broadcasting team). I said "USU announcers," referring to announcers that were covering Utah State. It's a subtle difference - and one that might easily go over your head on a message board - but it's as important as the difference between "Let's eat, Grandma!" and Let's eat Grandma!"

If you had watched the Aug 31, 2014 game against Tennessee, you would have heard the announcers of that game giving Keeton some dark horse Heisman love... Until the punchless Aggies got smothered. At that point, Heisman hype pretty much died everywhere except the Cache Valley. (By the way, here is an article from USA Today giving Keeton some preseason Heisman love: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2014/07/24/heisman-hopeful-chuckie-keetons-return-has-football-buzzing/13117375/)

As I said in this post (http://www.cougarboard.com/board/message.html?id=16400256), Keeton was never a legitimate Heisman contender. Even a monster season would have left him well outside of the 5 finalists...

And it's the same way with Hill. Even a monster season would likely leave him behind guys like McCaffrey, Fournette, Watson, Cook, Freeman, Barrett, Mayfield, and Rosen. It would be really cool if I'm wrong. I'm at BYU right now, and it would be really cool to see a Heisman finalist among my classmates... But that's not realistic.
