But I think that legitimate Heisman conversations really only take place during the last 1/3 of the season, and I think that Taysom will be out of the running by then (either due to BYU losses or injury). I have a hard time giving any credibility to early-year Heisman hype. It seems like at the beginning of the year, every team has a guy who "could" be a contender (think Chuckie Keaton) - but toward the end of the season, there are really only a few guys that have a legitimate claim to consideration.
