It's needy to know if an email arrived or not?
I've decided to stop sending info not because I'm a needy, pathetic fan but because no response sends a message that it either wasn't received or it wasn't important.
It's simply unprofessional not to respond -- and an auto-reply takes zero amount of one's precious time that is apparently much more important than that of the dude sending info in.
