Honestly I don't think so, but I haven't been in that situation.

I'd feel a bit jaded maybe, but in the end I have no reason to.

It isn't my money. I don't have a say in what they do with their resources, so if they decided to leave me out (which I don't think would happen), what can I do about it?

As many have stated on this thread, any inheritance that I may receive is just icing on the cake. It doesn't go into my future wealth building plans and I will be fine with nothing.
