Because Boise was terrified of the deep ball.

Tanner was 17-28 2 tds and 2 ints for 309 yards.

We aren't talking about a perfect Tanner here... We are talking about a pretty good passer with potential over a guy that is a train wreck in the passing game.

Tanner had a respectable game (not great)

Taysom is hurting our rushing attack by not being able to throw it.
