Outside of that, Tanner had one pass longer than 12 yards (a 70 yarder to Blackmon), and only 3 over 9 yards. He wasn't much of a deep threat...except for the two INTs he threw. Minus the 2 TD drives and the 70 yarder, he had 104 yards passing. Very pedestrian. The running game wasn't opened up any more by a deep passing game than it was tonight. Difference last year was that Juergens caught 2 TD passes last year and a receiver dropped two tonight. Those catches/drops were the difference in both games.
