The conferences were very close last season, and it's trending EAST
The West did win more games over the East, but not by very much.

What's more you actually had to have a HIGHER win percentage to make the playoffs last year in the eastern conference.

I'm not some huge East. Conf homer, but you really make it seem like the West is just leaps and bounds ahead of the East which they are not.
