DBs weren't lost, not nearly as many mistakes on blown coverages, felt like they made a play on the ball more often, and were just more physical in general.
I think the stats are more reflective of the quality offenses we played, the youth/inexperience with a new system, and DL injuries rather than being a reflection on scheme or talent.
Despite what the stats say, I think our pass D took a few steps forward this year and we have every reason to believe the future is bright.
