First of all, I think you are seriously misinterpreting the tone of my comments.
I couldn't be calmer. I can admittedly get very frustrated and somewhat heated when reading comments online that I disagree with, or when engaging in an online argument, but this honestly is not one of those times at all. Like you, I was simply responding and providing my side of an argument. Sorry if I came across as angry or something, because I'm not.

As far as your first point, of course innocent people can feel the effects of some punishments, but in this instance those would be the ONLY people affected, which is why I don't think it makes sense. This isn't a situation where a guilty party would be punished, and others would unfortunately be caught up in the punishment.

The idea of giving Penn State the death penalty seems kind of like throwing a murderer's family in prison, even though they had nothing to do with his crimes.

Your comment seems to suggest that I'm some kind of arrogant jerk who refuses to be wrong, but I'm having a hard time seeing what I did to make you think that. It seems like I have been doing exactly what you were doing, only on the other side of the argument.
