wouldn't work, or ways to get around it. There are legitimate reasons why a player could need to play fewer minutes. Sometimes guys do get the flu, or maybe they're recovering from a minor injury. Being forced to sit them for 3 games seems harsh, especially if it happens to a team fighting for a playoff spot who legitimately isn't trying to rest players.

This would seem unpopular with players AND owners, so I can't imagine it having a chance of happening.
