Faculty and staff should have the best and closest parking and then students. It is a perk for employees and you want
to hire the best employees. Students are begging to go to BYU and parking is not a factor (most universities have parking issues). Parking does not need to be that convenient for students. No harm in having parking near campus being burdensome. It is a positive to have more students, biking, walking, and taking public transportation.
Or if students want more parking jack up the parking rates to pay for it. BYU is subsidized enough as is.
