Have you ever lived in NYC or Chicago or other big city? How do the kids at Northwestern get groceries?
Bike, walk or, bus are the most common. At BYU, students could do all three.

Also, BYU provides a lot of parking, so you can still have a car and drive. It just doesn't have to be at your door. Have it half mile or more away. Drop off your stuff and then park it. No big deal, but apparently Bobby and Susie can't walk an extra half mile. Discounted tuition is not enough. I need parking to be close and convenient or else I am not happy.

Usually millenials are the entitled ones, but are parents really teaching their kids that parking close by is a necessity?

And the so was in regard to your first sentence.
