The one thing about Kalani is that the minute he is sold on a guy being the
future at a certain position, he does not hesitate in putting the no. 2 (in this case, Fonua) in a better spot to contribute and potentially compete for a no. 1 spot with another group. We've seen it be the case with a number of players now and I trust that they will get it right the majority of the time. As a player, I'd have to appreciate that coaching style where I know I will at least get a fair shot to compete and be used where I fit best and that my career won't be limited because I got beat out by an underclassman.
