Especially when the beat-out guy is a great player & athlete. He seems
to have done the same w/ Harvey Langi, Akile Davis & Grant Jones.
Liked that he thoroughly repents of his mis-evaluations too--as we quickly saw Dayan Lake/whata? & Thomas Shoaf rise from outa nowhere to nail down starters spots--& not to have them relinquished.
