Coaches are looking to improve effective fg%.

You do that 3 ways:
More driving - for most of our guards/wings this isn't their strength
More 3pt made - we have had our struggles there
More shots from the block - last years strategy.

We need more driving. That opens up everything else. Haws will improve there and having a healthy EB improves that as well. Emery is good at driving on fast breaks but his game isn't necessarily driving off of sets.

More driving leads to more kick outs which mean our 3s are square from just inches from the line instead of pull ups from 23 feet or off the dribble from screens or step backs.

Better shots on offense leads to more effort on defense from everyone.
