That play does not happen all the time
Kawhi was shooting a fade away jump shot, it's not like he was coming around a screen or jumping into the defender. It is very uncommon for a defender's foot to end up in the landing zone of a fade away, and it usually happens when the defenders primary goal is to get into the legs of the shooter.

I think it can be unintentional, and still dirty. Did he know Leonard would get hurt? No. Still a dirty play? I think so

He said that play almost never happens even though a nearly identical setup happens. Meaning Zaza did something more.
