Am a candidate as well.
From what I understand what little hearing I have will be destroyed in the process of getting CIs. So for now, I am sticking with BTE hearing aids--something I've worn my entire life.
Oticon comes out with with their BTE version of their OPN line of HAs June 1st. This will be my next set.
