I watched a decent amount of Fultz and Ball this year. I was never scared of Fultz or Washington as a Utah fan. UCLA, on the other hand, was a different story. Ball had a way of making everyone on the team better. He always earned guys good looks, whether it was in transition or in the half court set. His style of play seemed to pick up the team around him. I think the comparisons to Kidd are pretty reasonable.
Fultz strikes me as a guy who would go to a crappy team and put up numbers but never really make his team better. That's why this Boston pick is so intriguing. They aren't exactly a garbage team. Maybe that will help elevate his game. I am no scout. I only know what I have seen with my eyes and I watched Fultz play maybe 4-5 times this year. I can't understand why that team was so bad. They had plenty of talent.
