Agree. The PAC-12 doesn't have enough $ to offer concessions. The Big 10 will
be able to offer $10 million + more per year than the PAC-12 given how the respective conference TV channels are doing.

If you're the B12 could you grab enough of the PAC to make it work with the promise of more money?

The advantage I see with the pac12 is that if everyone stops at 16

Grabbing TX & OU with say OSt and one of the TX schools would be a good bridge with CO and Arizona Schools. That could

No way do the California or Northwest schools agree to that.

That would require a rule change, but I would be fine with that too.

I guess this so called reporter doesn't know that travelcoug said there's no reason Texas would ever even consider pac12

No, ACC is the lowest

If you count $ from Tier 3 rights, Big12 is #3, PAC12 #4, ACC #5

Concessions may not just monetary; they could allow Texas to keep LHN

PAC12 has second highest revenue but has highest operational cost.

Pac 12 with texas and OU puts them much higher.

With the trend of cordcutting and ESPN/FOX cuts, I don't agree with that.

They would control half the country. PAC 12 would do very well.

He neglects to mention that all road games would be over 1000 miles away. Huge downside. Less travel equals more wins.

I'll say it again, don't assume 16 teams. More profit with 12 teams.

More likely to see B1G or SEC grow bigger than 4x16

If I'm one of the big boys... I say 12 teams each and get 25% more $$$$
