We haven't won a rivalry game since 2009. It's a no brainer at this point
One can reassure themselves with being above the fray, not letting the Utes in their heads, not being little brother, or whatever...
Your rival owns you right now. You have to beat them.
I'd love to get back to owning the Utes and forgetting about them, as was the case throughout the 70's and 80's.
I'd take the LSU guaranteed win were we splitting with the Utes , as in the 90's-2000's.
But when you've lost 7 straight, your rival has joined a P5 conference, and it's having consequential recruiting implications, you take the Utah win.
