I would argue that is at least somewhat confirmation bias.

BYU hasn't been all world. They've lost to Utah. There have been some bad losses.

But, there have also been some great wins. The Nebraska win was one for the ages. We saw some incredible performances by Taysom--Texas never wants to see BYU again. BYU went to a bowl game every one of those 6-8 years.

And, honestly, I think we have a lot more to be positive about this year.
