TV money is just part of the equation
Ignoring culture, academics, etc....
USC overall athletic department revenue would take a huge hit if it were to leave the PAC. Think about it - where do most of USC fans and alumni live? Who would fans and donors want to see USC play for all sports? UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and Arizona? Or Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor, Kansas St., Iowa St., and West Virginia?

most pac12 fans i know are pissed about their TV situation. And it doesn't look like it's getting better
