It would if they added valuable teams from the Pac 12, look...
Everyone knows there is value in the Big 12, but there is also drag in the Big 12. The same holds true for the PAC 12. As athletic departments try to keep up, with soaring payments they have to deliver a better product. OSU, WSU, ASU, UT, aren't demanding a lot of eyeballs, at least compared to the other players in the Conference. If there was a merger potential to a 16 team conference, why not ditch those 4, let the Big 12 ditch 2 and form a 16 team super conference with schools that have serious sports programs.

most pac12 fans i know are pissed about their TV situation. And it doesn't look like it's getting better
