Pied Piper Walk-on
I have been doing it 4 years. I went in thinking I would do it 3-5 years. Over
half the kids I started with have moved on and most come in thinking of a similar 3-5 year timeline. Also, everyone always seems to be "looking" for the next opportunity almost as soon as they start. I know a lot of people who said they would only do it for a few years and then they stay forever. It depends if you can find the practice group/attorneys you enjoy working with and if your family/significant others are ok with the lack of work-life balance.
