bonus (plus a multiple depending on hours and performance). As you can see from Cravath scale plus bonus, pay goes up by around $40k per year at the mid level. I'm personally just trying to save as much of it as I can, while also paying down massive student loans, so that I can at some point walk away while still having a substantial nest egg.
I have kids though and it's hard to essentially give up my children's lives for the hope of relatively rapid accumulation of wealth (and the freedom it buys). I'm always on the hunt for an attractive alternative, just haven't found one yet.
