Trusts and estates definitely seems like one of the better practice areas. I've
heard tax can be pretty good, too. I also think it can be a great idea to do Big Law for a few years for the credentials and experience, but I can't imagine doing it for a really long time. Maybe that's because I was jaded by my experience working at an NY bank. Which city did you practice in? I'm sure location can make a big difference. You could not pay me enough to work at an NY Big Law firm longterm. Literally.
