At least twice a year in general conference and twice a year in stake conference and once a year in ward conference, the presiding authorities ask for a show of hands as to whether we sustain general authorities of the Church in their callings (some as prophets, seers and revelators). There may be another instance of sustaining vote in years where you have a regional conference broadcast.
Whatever the actual amount, the tithing funds are prayerfully and carefully allocated by the Council on the Disposition of the Tithes (comprised of and presided over by people that active members sustain (five or six times a year) as prophets, seers and revelators). Your expression above is out-of-step with a key decision of that important council in regards to at least one of its ongoing strategic allocations.
So would you please clarify what the "A" in ALUF represents? If you are truly an Active LDS Utah Fan, then the Church's commitment to BYU and its other educational entities/programs should not affect your breathing - especially not in a bad way.
