I left a 20 year career to start something new, it was incredible for 3 years
and then the wheels came off with the recession. It was absolutely the right decision to leave the company I worked for, but I should have transferred to another company within the industry. The guy that took the job I didn't take made $7.5M last year off of stock options...Doh! And he works far fewer hours than I ever did.
