Good post, but I take exception to the simplistic last statement that contains

the phrase "get over it and get help". This is so common among those that are outside looking in and have never gone through the 'fight". Hearing someone say "get over it and get help" just reinforces the mind set that you still have control over your situation. Please drop the "get over it" part and just encourage anyone you know that needs help to get it.
