31.6 points per game in 2015, including putting up 42 in the first game of the season against #7 Oregon. Troy Taylor called the plays (he wasn't even the offensive coordinator) for an offense that was already functioning at a high level, averaging 480ypg in 11 games in 2015. They averaged 412ypg in 14 games during 2016. The biggest difference is that while they already ran a pass heavy offense, with 3886 passing and 1396 rushing yards in 2015, he essentially ignored running the ball. In 2016, they had a grand total of 606 rushing yards, while setting an FCS record with 5160 passing yards. That comes out to 43 rushing and 369 passing yards per game. Hardly awe inspiring, especially when looking at the losses to Utah's offensive line and mediocre quarterback situation.
