Not sure if serious...Where exactly are the "cool" places from Nor Cal?

Honest question, what about Nor Cal makes it better? I've been a handful of times and can't remember anything worth noting. Wine county was kinda cool for a day. And San Fran had some cool tourist areas. Outside of that I honestly don't know of anywhere I'd go visit.

I was a kid in socal in the 80s. I had no clue about byu (my parent's fault) and it was decidedly uncool to be Mormon
