Athletically-speaking, Taysom was always NFL material, though. Not sure that
says much of anything in this case.
I'm one of those who still thinks Mangum is a big-time talent being misused, though. Taysom was clearly far more successful under Anae's offenses, so with Tanner being FAR more successful under Anae too--the answer to this problem seems pretty FREAKING obvious.
Particularly given Tanner's undeniable success as a high school QB--at both the state & national level. I refuse to believe he's simply not grasping the pro-style offense.

HE has adapted many games in a row now. And it looked great with great QB play for 1.5 quarters vs. USU

It may be that Tanner isn't picking up the offfense, but let's take a look at Taysom's stats last year.
