He could transfer to a JC and if he is able to graduate from the JC in this school year he could then transfer to Utah, or any other school, and play in the 2018 season.
I have no idea what Bernard’s academic standing is and if it would even be possible to get his associates degree by the end of the school year. But considering how long he has attended BYU, I don’t think that satisfying the graduation requirements at SLCC or Snow is it fo the question.
Also, if he’s currently enrolled at a JC, he’s a recruitable athlete and could legitimately talk to coaches and visit schools.
