Taysom was awesome in the Houston, Ga Tech, 1st half of Nebraska games
He was good in about 4-6 other games but he was not good and even terrible in the rest.

Taysom was a freak athlete but he was not a freak quarterback. Fans look back on Taysom and remember him being a whole lot better than he really was.

He never really got over his accuracy and decision issues. He tucked and ran it many times when he should have passed it. He chose the easy short dump routes when there were 15 yrds or more that could have been thrown to but he too was insecure with his accuracy etc... apparently people forgot how many times criddle and Hans provided clips of him holding the ball too long to cause a sack. Fans convinced themselves "he's running for his life" where in reality Taysom just was never a good decision maker that coupled with his competitive nature of always wanting the ball caused many sack issues. Jamaal never had a problem with the same Olines, neither did Christian Stewart.

Taysom's leap at Texas bought him a bit too much goodwill I believe. He was an amazing athlete but at best a good quarterback.
