CB4, you need to step out of your paradigm about Taysom just long enough to
recognize that it is JUST POSSIBLE that your astute assessment of him as a QB was in error all along, as it was for a lot of people on CB. I get that your happy for him, but your beginning to sound like a politician, using whatever spin you can to avoid just admitting that you might be in error.

The NFL, and a bunch of scouts seem to disagree with you. Perhaps you know more than they do, or perhaps not. What is glaring as far as evidence to the contrary, and apart from armchair QB "observations" on his "throwing mechanics and accuracy," is that guys like MVP Steve Young, et al were gushing about Taysom, and not just as a "runner." He was a Heisman candidate for two years, only to be cut short by injuries. His on-field performance in college also provides glaring evidence in opposition to your views. More glaring evidence in opposition to your assessment is that Taysom threw for 3000 yards as a sophomore, and looked amazing doing it, adding another 1000 yards running. Bad QB's are not that likely to manage throwing for 3000 yards in a season. It is a stretch to assert that his inconsistent performance after that is because he somehow REGRESSED in his skillset, but more likely related to the many other factors, including incomplete recovery from injuries, making it hard for him to plant and throw, as well as things related to his supporting cast (oline, receivers, rb's, TE's), and even coaching changes / philosophies. I know it's hard to admit that one is just wrong, but it can also be liberating. As Nike would say, "just do it."
