do that and still basically have almost any choice he wants when he gets back. Schools will say ok I can look at you as a 2020 kid. Kids without the offer list and potential won't get that kind of leeway or respect. Not as easy as it sounds when your status as a player doesn't warrant schools waiting around for you.
