If you gave BYU $100M for athletics, what difference would it ultimately make?

Indy Coug Misunderstood

For starters, is it going to appreciably change who BYU is willing to hire as coaches? Is it going to bring in better players, assuming we are still mired in Independence limbo for the foreseeable future?

Not revenue. If BYU wants to be a P5, the church needs to subsidize it so the funding is equal to a successful P5.

Like I said, it needs to be a priority. The best coaches they can get. Salaries that match successful P5 salaries.
