I'm with you. I don't understand why people would go out of their way to attend a viewing for a non-family member/friend
I have a hard time with viewings for my own family members. The pale faces, plastic look and all that creeps me out.
All I do at viewings is talk to people and look at picture/watch videos of the persons life. I try to avoid the casket at all costs.
