Top schools dominate the draft because, shockingly, they have better athletes. NBA scouts and
executives are paid a lot of money to find the best athletes. As stated by others, playing at a small school didn't hurt Jimmer, or Lillard, or Steph Curry, or Karl Malone, or Scottie Pippen, etc. etc.
