Where does he fit in the rotation when he's surrounded by 5* players? How much playing time does he get?
If you're expecting him to go to Duke and get major minutes, I think you're crazy. Say he's the 7th or 8th man coming off the bench, which I think is being generous, how does that give him a better shot at the NBA?
I love Eli, and if he has a stellar year next year he could get a few looks a la Kyle Collinsworth. One way or another he will make a ton of money playing basketball after he leaves BYU. But players get drafted based on potential and athletic ability, and I think Eli has already come pretty close to maxxing out his potential.
