Weed Posession:
1st offense (any amount) - up to 1 year prison and $1,000 fine
2nd offense (any amount) - 15 days to 2 years prison and $2,500 fine
3rd offense (any amount) - 90 days to 3 years prison and $5,000 fine

Weed Distribution or Sale:
Depending on quantity sold - 5 years to life prison and up to $1,000,000 fine (double penalty if to a minor)

Weed Cultivation:
Same as Distribution or Sale - 5 years to life in prison and $1,000,000 fine.

Spousal Abuse (i read online that a clean criminal record usually misdemeanor for a 1st and 2nd offense in most states):
Misdemeanor - up to 1 year in prison
Felony - up to 4 years in prison

They are surprisingly similar, but I couldn't find a minimum sentence for spousal abuse. Speculating that a good attorney may get you off lighter on domestic violence where weed has minimum penalties.
