"My ways are higher than your ways. My thoughts are not your thoughts sayeth the Lord" What we think is important in this world...is not important to God...worldly speaking. We think sports are a big deal. I tend to think the Lord looks at sports as a distraction to what's really important for his purposes. Gospel wise.... realistically, the most important thing is bringing souls to Christ. So, as the world continues to go down the toilet, however best the Church can do that is where their focus will go.   How football fits into it....?    Not sure
