Successful basketball did wonders for Gonzaga
I agree with original poster.
I moved to Spokane in 1995, just prior to Gonzaga's first Cinderella run in the NCAA. Since then, their campus has dramatically improved. Lots of new buildings and renovations. Enrollment has grown also.
I believe this can be attributed to their basketball team becoming a nationally known brand. Local newspaper agrees with me.
