Change it to minimum wage and there will be nothing but kiosks to order from. Restaurants barely make it as is.
And this comes from someone who was a server for 4 years through college. And you said yourself they make $9, that’s already over minimum wage.
I do agree with you that under the current system 20% should be the minimum tip you leave.

have to assume that a chunk of their money is unrecorded cash tips... but I agree, they should make more.
