Now, not so much. We are reactive to everything, as far as we can tell (I know we don't have visibility but this is what it feels like). Why didn't we approach the AAC with Gonzaga? That would be a much better bball conference than the MWC. Why didn't we get in the Big12 in two different go-arounds? We are irrelevant more than we have ever been in the two major sports. That is super depressing. It's driving recruits away. Getting into a conference, even the AAC now would be a monumental task with the LGBTQ movement and accompanying political pressure. Indy is not exciting in football anymore. I don't care that we get throttled by Wisconsin, LSU, Michigan, UCLA. Nah. Give me a conference title to play for.
