Tom had an idea, but no plan to succeed with this plan.

No slow build up with these tough football schedules, no realization that the WCC is a crap league and we need to schedule better than average non conference games, adn no plan to adjust recruiting (in both sports) with the assumed challenge that going against a P5 Utah.

I'm not sure if our situation is any different with someone else in Tom's place, or if there was truly some other path to go. But I do know that from an outsiders perspective, there was the Indy idea but absolutely no plan to succeed in the Indy/WCC. Big assumptions by the AD, which as you've mentioned have exposed us.

I don't have much faith in Tom.
